I have had the opportunity to be with USD 480 for the last 13 years. I began my teaching career at Cottonwood Intermediate in 2004 and taught 6th grade for seven years. In August of 2010, I moved down and taught 5th grade for four years. I am currently the Instructional Coach for Seymour Rogers Middle School.
I am very lucky in the fact that my parents still live here, in fact they live out at Hayne - south of the ethanol plant. I am the oldest of three kids. My sister, Machelle, and her husband, Caleb, live in Waynoka, OK and they have two kiddos: Kennedy and Kade. Last but not least, my brother, James, is Corrections Officer at the prison in Eldorado, KS.
I have two dogs: a 12-year old Scottish Terrier named Eddy and a 5-year old Miniature Poodle named Pepper.
I love to read and that is my number one way to relax. I love to cook and I cross-stitch and recently learned how to do needle point.
