Hello! My name is Teresa Louderback, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 19th year teaching primarily 5th and 6th graders. I grew up in Kismet, Kansas and graduated from Newman University with both a Bachelor and a Master degree in Education. I started my teaching career by teaching 5th grade for 11 years. I learned not only the standards, but how to help students to realize that through hard work all things are possible. Looking for something new, I moved to teach English Language Learners. Then later I became an Instructional Coach, where I help my peers to grow professionally. I am currently teaching five blocks of 6th grade Math. After all these years with students, I still get excited at the beginning of each year and am saddened when it comes to an end. Additionally, I am the co-pilot for the Redesign Team at Seymour Rogers Middle School and I serve on the SIT Team where our goal is to not let any student slip through the cracks. Lastly I am on the Hospitality Committee, where we try to make school a place all adults want to be. Our school has seen so much growth due to us working well together everyday. I am very proud and thankful for the team I have at Seymour Rogers Middle School.
Currently, I live just outside of Liberal with my husband, Jeff. We run a cow/calf operation and a miniature bucking stock. We use these animals to put on rodeos for the youth from ages 6 to 18. We believe that safety and experiences are a priority to help making young cowboys dreams come true.
When things get tough, I go to the pasture where things are balanced.
